An update...at last

Well, it's been a minute. Work has been a nightmare the past year and a half, but things are starting to calm down. That and I've been putting up more boundaries so that I can have a more balanced life. Anyway, I am finally seeing some opportunity to try to get back into the swing of things re: making sites again!

CRIMSON PRIDE is now open as the fanlisting and upcoming shrine for Mydei from Honkai: Star Rail! God, I love this man... I didn't think I'd ever find a character that I loved as much as I love him. Honestly, I was looking forward to him because he was clearly inspired by Gilgamesh from Fate, but he is far from a knockoff--Hoyo did a great job with his character and story. I'm really looking forward to working on this as the story progresses in the coming patches!!

With that being said, my current priorities are:

1. Update after-death.org with a new layout and organization for sites/projects. I also want to make a character wall but make it specific to characters that have impacted me personally rather than general favorites (let's be real, this would be way too long if I did all my favorites, ha).

2. Work on the narrative portions of Crimson Pride, recognizing that some things may end up shifting around as the Amphoreus story continues.

3. Finish my notes from Lostbelt 6 so I can finish Morgan, Castoria, and Oberon--and then finally open lostbelt.org after the many years I've had it without it being visible!!!!

I've been updating my Listography as a place that shows what I'm projecting, as well as some new layouts/other types of updates I need to do...

I'm visiting Michelle this weekend, so hopefully we will get some site stuff done. :)

After-death.org Revamp

A quick post to indicate that after-death.org has a new layout and has been slightly re-organized. I was looking through some of my files and found the layout half-finished, so I was inspired to spruce it up and get things organized here as well!

I'm pretty close to finally having everything organized and in a place to buckle down to start working on shrine content. The last things I need to do in order to "clean up" now are to fix some of the CSS that doesn't work for div headings on various fanlistings/archived sites and to update my layout archive.

Right now my priority is to open lostbelt.org and fix the CSS issues, with some new fanlisting layouts coming down the pike. Once the domain is open, at least, I will also resume working on the three upcoming shrines on the domain: At the World's End, Chasing Starlight, and Artifice (all three characters debuting in Lostbelt 6).

Till next time,

Samantha

Updates Moved Here

Welcome to Crow Song, Samantha's updates log for both after-death.org and lostbelt.org.

I made this Dreamwidth a while back when things were up in the air re: Twitter and haven't used it since... However, I've decided now that I'm trying to get back in the swing of shrining, I'll use this as a place to post updates!

Right now, I'm just trying to get things cleaned up and organized before I dig into content. So, a few small updates:

1. Astralwing has a new layout, new organization, and I went through and cleaned up all the dead links from fanlistings I've joined in the past--and joined some new ones!

2. My linkage page has a new layout in addition to sadly removing dead domains and shrines. It was a little disheartening to see so many things be removed... but I'm also happy to see a number of shrines and domains that I admire still around!

3. In addition to reviving this place for updates, I've also created a new Listography to keep track of things that I am working on re: revamps and upcoming projects.

I'm currently taking notes on Lostbelt 6 from Fate/Grand Order to work on Morgan, Castoria, and Oberon - these are my priorities in terms of new content and in relation to finally opening lostbelt.org. From there, I'll see what I feel most motivated to work on re: either a revamp or creating something new.

That's all for now!

Samantha
