An update...at last

Well, it's been a minute. Work has been a nightmare the past year and a half, but things are starting to calm down. That and I've been putting up more boundaries so that I can have a more balanced life. Anyway, I am finally seeing some opportunity to try to get back into the swing of things re: making sites again!
CRIMSON PRIDE is now open as the fanlisting and upcoming shrine for Mydei from Honkai: Star Rail! God, I love this man... I didn't think I'd ever find a character that I loved as much as I love him. Honestly, I was looking forward to him because he was clearly inspired by Gilgamesh from Fate, but he is far from a knockoff--Hoyo did a great job with his character and story. I'm really looking forward to working on this as the story progresses in the coming patches!!
With that being said, my current priorities are:
1. Update after-death.org with a new layout and organization for sites/projects. I also want to make a character wall but make it specific to characters that have impacted me personally rather than general favorites (let's be real, this would be way too long if I did all my favorites, ha).
2. Work on the narrative portions of Crimson Pride, recognizing that some things may end up shifting around as the Amphoreus story continues.
3. Finish my notes from Lostbelt 6 so I can finish Morgan, Castoria, and Oberon--and then finally open lostbelt.org after the many years I've had it without it being visible!!!!
I've been updating my Listography as a place that shows what I'm projecting, as well as some new layouts/other types of updates I need to do...
I'm visiting Michelle this weekend, so hopefully we will get some site stuff done. :)

Date: 2025-04-08 11:41 am (UTC)Congrats on the new site! I don't play gacha games anymore, so I'm looking forward to learning more about him as you complete your site.
I hope you can find a good balance that lets you work on sites more! (And I hope you have a great time visiting Michelle, how fun!)

Date: 2025-04-09 02:25 am (UTC)In theory I'm working on a half-dozen different sites, but in practice... less so :') I have the beginnings of a new domain layout, I want to revamp my fanlisting collective finally, and then I have some new sites to work on. (Though mostly I've just been playing FF14... at least I got a site out of that, too?!) Hopefully the coming months will be productive for both of us!

Date: 2025-04-09 02:43 am (UTC)We've got this. :)
I definitely don't need a new project, but it would be fun if maybe those of us who are still around (i.e., us, Rems, Michelle, etc.) did some kind of site marathon/theme like the old days... I'd probably be more motivated to get something out and its fun to work on things similar to what others are working on!

Date: 2025-04-09 07:01 pm (UTC)I miss marathons so much!! If I can come up with an idea (THE HARD PART) I'll think about running a marathon or something. Tbh what I miss most is the sense of community... it hasn't been the same for a long while.
